Discover Ukraine is a family-friendly cultural celebration organized by the Slavic Refugee & Immigrant Services Organization (SRISO). Through authentic traditions, music, cuisine and community engagement, we connect people, celebrate diversity, and build lasting bridges between cultures.
Whether you have Ukrainian roots or are simply curious to discover a vibrant culture for the first time, everyone is welcome.

A full day, still taking shape

Is admission free?
Yes! Admission is completely free and open to the public. Guests are invited to purchase authentic Ukrainian food, beverages, handmade crafts, and other products from our vendors and artisans — every purchase supports Ukrainian entrepreneurs and community organizations.
When and where is the festival?
Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Liberty Station, San Diego, California.
Do I need to register?
Registration isn’t required but is highly recommended. Registering gets you festival updates, the entertainment schedule, parking information, the festival map, and event reminders.
Is the festival family-friendly?
Absolutely! There’s something for all ages, including the Kids Village, live entertainment, interactive workshops, and family-friendly games.
Will there be food available?
Yes — authentic Ukrainian cuisine from local restaurants and food vendors, including traditional dishes, desserts, coffee, and tea.
What can I expect at the festival?
Live music and cultural performances, the Ukrainian Heritage Village and Artisan Market, authentic cuisine, interactive workshops, the Kids Village, the Photo Garden, the Community Table, the Ukrainian Passport Experience, the Wall of Hope, a Vyshyvanka Competition, and an evening finale.
Is parking available?
Yes. Public parking is available throughout Liberty Station. Additional parking recommendations will be shared with registered attendees before the event.
Can I bring my children? My dog?
Children are always welcome, with many activities designed just for families. Well-behaved pets are welcome on a leash, in accordance with Liberty Station’s pet policies — please clean up after them.

Yes. The festival is designed to be accessible and welcoming for guests of all abilities.
